This is Art. Art is AMAZING. Art works a full bar, works service bar, busses his own bins (no bar back), and does it all with a smile. This is our local go-to. Excellent drinks, food (El Pollo La Pariila), and of course, Art. You rock, Art. El Porton is your local family restaurant. Mom and pop authenticity. Highly recommend.
I've been doing lunch takeout once a week for months. Super fast and simple. Pay online, pick-up with zero wait once you arrive. Consistently great food. I highly recommend it.

Great service from our server. I love how crispy the chips are and not too hard. Salsa can be spicy but still good. Chips and salsa definitely complimentary. Got me some big margarita too! I ordered 2 taco steaks and its very filling. Big space and booths. They also have the Robot server now which plays macarena when it is serving.
Great food and great service. This was my childhood Tex-Mex restaurant and it is still as good as it was in the 90's. Whenever I am in the Atlanta area, I definitely make a stop here. The cheese dip is unbeatable and the food is always amazing.
An amazing experience all around at El Porton in Roswell. We started off with a Paloma (tequila blanco, grapefruit soda and lime), so refreshing on this 90* day! Our food was amazing! I went with the Yolanda's (chicken enchiladas with red sauce and guacamole salad on the side). The hubs had the poblano steak and everything was hot and flavorful! Our waiter was really sweet and charming. He kept the table clean and was fast and friendly. Our food was brought to the table by one of those robots playing Mexican music!
I came here for lunch while in the area for work. I was seated right away at an excellent booth. Parkng is around the restaurant but can be tight when busy. I ordered the combo 1 with included: beef taco, 2 chicken enchiladas, and rice. The salsa here was on the spicy side. Service here is fast and amazingly nice. Employees here are super nice and attentive. My taco was delicious along with my enchiladas. I highly recommend this place if your in the mood for some good Mexican food in the Roswell area.
